By LILIANA GIL, 6/13/2016. After 7pm, the IT Expressway in the city of Chennai – the second largest exporter of software in India after Bangalore – gets transformed. The scene reminds of Lumière’s 19th century piece, but there are more workers and they’re all young and wear keycard necklaces and ride scooters or take autorickshaws. There’s street food, traffic, and lots of honking. The IT Expressway extends for about 10km.
