India and China in the Making of Global Orders: Past and Present

This online panel examines the mid-20th century origins of Indian and Chinese conceptions of sovereignty, Asian solidarity, and the production of global orders. Panelists will situate the histories of Indian and Chinese statehood within broader contemporary debates over emerging forms of multilateralism and new forms of global governance in a post-liberal, post-American order.
