Recalibrating Economic Relations Among China, India and the US

How might relations among China, India, and the United States move away from today’s nationalist-driven conflicts over trade, technology, and investment restrictions? This conference brings together leading scholars to address some of the major economic challenges facing these countries at a time when economic and political tensions among these major powers are at high levels and are draining resources that could instead be used to promote economic growth and shared prosperity.

Speakers will cover issues ranging from economic security, technological competition, and trade imbalances to geopolitical tensions, supply chain resilience, and green technology transitions. Together, their contributions provide the basis for a set of policy proposals aimed at capitalizing on the strengths of the three countries while reducing unproductive tensions among them. Global prosperity and global peace hinge to a great extent on the ability of these countries to creatively and collaboratively address these challenges.
